Jackson, Our Hometown

After 51 days on the road, 35 states passed through, 13 National Parks explored, multiple friends visited, and numerous state parks (Dead Horse Point State Park being our favorite) serving as hosts, we arrived back in Jackson, Our Hometown. We had an outstanding trip and truly appreciated our opportunity to travel and connect with friends and natural beauty. The Answer My Friend Is Blowing In The Wind

Prior to arriving in Minneapolis, Stargazer found shelter from the winds at Palisades State Park outside Sioux Falls, South Dakota. Many of the state parks have unique stories to tell; PSP was once a town with three stores, blacksmith shop, hotel, and more. A railroad passed through Palisades, but now there are limited remnants; although the Balancing Rock where the town mill was located was very cool.
