Working Our Way Down to the Everglades
Last night we arrived in Saint Augustine, Florida and so far our travels have been a success. We are getting used to being back in Stargazer and overall Stargazer has behaved like a RV Rock Star. This trip we have a new mascot crafted by Kathy Seymour.

Our first stop was near Binghamton, NY at a backwoods Harvest Host location. We were able to plug in and everyone was very friendly. That night we had our only rain.
Next we traveled to Luray, VA and camped at a campground we have visited before. Temperatures were in the 80’s and we were able to sit out, soak in the sun, and relax.

We have been doing a lot of driving and so far have not been on major highways. Our next stop was Raven Rock State Park in North Carolina. A beautiful location with spacious camping space. Otto finally got out for a good walk. During the trip we have been playing cribbage, and so far Greg has yet to win a game!

The drive to Saint Augustine took 10 hours with much of it on Route 95, and although we are staying in a RV Park, our location looks out over an amazing tidal marsh. Today we are staying in place and biking into Saint Augustine. Saturday we arrive at Everglades National Park.

Still cold and rainy up here – enjoy that sunshine!!!!
That sunshine looks SOOO nice. I’m in Vermont visiting my sister. Cold and dreary mud season. Can’t decide if it’s sleeting or raining. Slipping and sliding along the dirt roads. Yuck.
Perfect! ❤️
looks great, and smart of you to let Melinda win all the cribbage games.
Sounds like a great trip already! Love the photos of you two. It’s been a cold and wet week here. The daffodils look bedraggled from all of the rain! Enjoy the springtime there! ox
Might need a bit of that Southern BBQ!!
Happy Easter Weekend
Looks like a load of fun! Binghamton is very close to where I grew up in Waverly, NY. When you were in Luray, did you visit the caverns? If you haven’t been there yet and if you’re going back that way, you should check them out. Enjoy the warm weather.
Off to such a great start! Thatz a beautiful marsh, looks like Missisippi! Love all the pictures!
