Stargazer Heading South
Today Melinda, Otto and I head south in Stargazer to visit the Everglades National Park and then travel up the east coast visiting family and friends, including stops at Jekyll Island off of Georgia and Shenandoah National Park.
We are all looking forward to getting away and Stargazer is raring to hit the road. Our trip this fall to Cape Breton was a big success with many highlights and we are hoping for the same this trip. With Melinda’s knee pain improving significantly, we are bringing our bikes and plan to do some biking and some hiking.
We are leaving a little later this year so that we could participate in the Mount Washington Valley No Kings March & Protest. Lots of people and good energy with our local group Unity Works making a great showing. Keeping up the fight is a must!
Since our last post lots has gone on: Ralph is now five and Lucy is one. Melinda’s work with the Jackson School Board has been long and hard, but progress on many fronts has been made. I have remained busy with the Whitney Community Center and in particular planning the Second Annual Mount Washington Valley Storytelling Festival on September 16th-20th. Melinda and I have spearheaded a Quaker Worship Group that meets in Jackson. Otto still enjoys his walks, but is starting to loose his hearing.
We plan to return to Jackson on May 1st, so have a great April and enjoy our trip posts.

Happy to see you are back on the road.
Love reading your trips
Hi Melinda and Greg: Enjoy your trip south. If you end up in RI on your return, let me know. I’ll meet you anywhere or you are welcome here (to park overnight if you wish). We are on high alert for the baby girl. Megan was due yesterday and is showing signs of early labor. I am very happy that you have less knee pain, Melinda. I, too, am relatively pain-free after a year of dealing with hip surgeries and pain. It’s a whole new world. Love to you both.
Safe travels to our friends, Greg, Melinda and Otto. Have a blast, if course. Can’t wait to hear of all your adventures (and quilt shops)!

Have a great time! Safe Travels! Looking forward to seeing the pics and reading all about your adventures!
How exciting that you’re off for another adventure! Even more exciting that Melinda’s nagging knee pain is abating and biking will become more tolerable! You always seem to see many beautiful areas of the country on your travels and meet wonderful people. I look forward to tracking your progress!

Tell Otto many old men lose their hearing. He will probably say, “What’s that you say?” Have fun, you three.
