Old Friends & Good Times

Old Friends & Good Times

The Acadia Seashore Camping & Cabins Campground was quite spectacular. The weather during our two days was perfect; although 39 degrees the first morning. Stargazer was parked right by the water and we could sit by our fire and look out on Cadillac Mountain. We met lots of wonderful people including two couples who have sold their homes and are traveling the country.

Getting Ready to Make Our Evening Fire

Susan Malkin and Jay Kelly joined us in their RV, Harvey. They were the friends who motivated us to purchase Stargazer. We had a great time catching up. We biked the Schoodic Peninsula and Jay tried out my eBike and now Susan and Jay are converts. Our time with Susan and Jay reminded us of the importance of friendships. We learn so much from each other and in particular Jay provided numerous tips on improving Stargazer’s performance.

Fun Loving RVers

Wednesday morning we said our goodbyes and Stargazer headed to Canada. Prior to crossing the boarder we drove up the Maine Coast enjoying the changing leaves and small coastal towns. The boarder crossing was a success with Otto charming the Boarder Guard. We headed to St. Martin’s and the Fundy Woods Campground. Pretty quiet and looks like potential rain has blown out to sea!
