Heading Back on the Road
On Friday, November 5th, Stargazer heads back out on the road. We will be traveling to and across Vermont’s Lake Champlain, throughout New York’s Adirondacks, to Clinton and Syracuse to visit college friends, then to the Finger Lakes and Niagara Falls, followed by the New River Gorge National Park in West Virginia, next up the Smoky Mountains National Park, and ending up in Asheville, North Carolina.
In Asheville we will be celebrating Thanksgiving with Tori and Chris Masaki, COVID pod friends we met when we moved to Jackson, New Hampshire. Tori and Chris moved to Asheville in April and we are looking forward to seeing their new home and spending time together.
Of course, our copilot, Otto, will be with us. In October we took Stargazer out for a test run in Maine and Otto was very pleased to be back out on the road in search of new smells and adventures.
After Asheville we will drive to Washington, DC for some Ralph time, as well as seeing Cory, Kim, Brendan and Katie, and we plan to be back in Jackson by December 1st.
We have been hard at work getting our home ready for winter. The gardens have been put to bed, snowblower poles put out, and other tasks completed. Off we go!

Love the costumes and glad that health allows for another trip. Have a great time!
Bon Voyage to you both and Otto! Maybe Otto will scare up a southern bear while you’re on the road! Your route sounds full of fascinating places and vistas, not to mention family and cute babies! Happy Trails!
