We wrapped up our visit with Frank and Gail Perretta with dinner at a local Greek restaurant we frequented while at Kirkland and Hamilton Colleges. The food was as good as we remembered, but we were disappointed to learn that Utica Club no longer makes Saranac Diet Root Beer. Looking forward to getting Frank (photo below with Frank in the middle) and Gail to Jackson, NH in 2022.

From Clinton we headed to Syracuse where we connected for the first time in over 40 years with Steve Simon; great friend and my senior year roommate. Lots of stories were shared and being with Steve was a real highlight. We had breakfast at a local diner and received a tour of Steve’s home (including drums in the living room). Looking forward to keeping connected and getting Steve to northern NH.

Then Stargazer headed to Letchworth State Park, known for a beautiful and mighty gorge. We were not disappointed (Middle Waterfall below). The Park was closed for RV hookups so we rented a Park cabin built in the 1930’s. We got to hang out with bow hunters and Trumpers!

Next to Niagara Falls and then we head south. We had a call with Tori and Chris Masaki about our Thanksgiving visit and it sounds like there will be plenty to do and eat.
