Rodney Rivers Saves the Day
We have heat!!! Rodney Rivers of the RV Store in Plattsburgh, NY provided “A1, Second to None” customer service and solved our heating issue. A control panel had burnt out and had to be replaced. Rodney had one last panel in stock! We are grateful to Rodney and the RV Store Team.
After our repair we traveled again through the Adirondacks on our way to Clinton, NY. We were most impressed by the many lakes and their beauty. Hopefully sometime we can return in our kayaks and spend time paddling, as well as hiking.
Although I got us lost for a short period of time on our way to Clinton, we made it. Greeting us were Frank and Gail Perretta. Frank as Junior High Principal was instrumental in helping us start the Free School of Clinton. For dinner, our Kirkland College philosophy professor, Rick Werner joined us. His wife Helen had passed away in October and we celebrated Helen, as well as toasting Frank, Gail, Rick and Helen as lifelong mentors and role models.
This morning Frank and I hiked with Otto in the woods around Hamilton College. Frank taught me the finer techniques of flicking, while telling one story after another.

I’m so glad you’re back on the road with heat! It sounds like you’re seeing beautiful views as you meander about!
So…for the unacquainted in the group…what is flicking?! I could google it I suppose, but want to hear it from you!
I hope all goes smoothly in the mechanical department from now on! Love, Carol
Yes! I was wondering what “flicking” was too.
