Ralph & the Gang
On Saturday we drove 9 hours from Asheville to Washington, DC. Easy drive with great views along the way. Stargazer has been a dream to drive and we have learned lots about operating and caring for a RV. Besides the heat issue, Stargazer has been a trooper.
Our time in DC was short, but lots of fun. The changes in Ralph since September are extraordinary. He has had challenges with colds as he transitions from home care to a child care center, but even when stuffed up and sneezy he still is such fun to be with and brings us lots of joy.
Catching up with Kim, Cory, Katie and Brendan is always a highlight. We had two dinners together and shared stories, opinions and lots more. We are all excited about being together in Jackson, NH for Christmas. Kim, Cory and Ralph are coming early with Kim’s parents to celebrate Ralph’s first birthday and Katie and Brendan and arriving later but staying with us the week after Christmas.
We headed north on Monday and are staying with Ann and Greg Baker-Pepe. We had a great pot roast dinner with Ann and Greg along with Mary Kate Gill and Ray Villanova. Lots of laughs and planning for our New Year’s Eve gathering on Martha’s Vineyard.
Today we head back to Jackson. 26 days on the road!
