Early Wednesday, March 20th, Stargazer heads back out on the road. Melinda, Otto and I will be traveling to Texas, California, Utah, Colorado and back to New Hampshire, arriving back May 8th.

Our trip last fall to Lake Champlain, Quebec, New Brunswick, Prince Edward Island, and home through Maine was memorable and included lots of bike riding. Since getting back we have kept busy highlighted by a) helping Greg’s mom Jane host Thanksgiving for ALL family members and b) traveling to Washington, DC to celebrate Ralph’s third birthday and Christmas with Brendan, Cory, Kim and Ralph.

In January we traveled to the Galápagos Islands where we had an amazing time on a land-based trip including tortoises, blue-footed boobies, penguins, sea lions, and much more. Experiencing the Galápagos Islands’ community and commitment to sustainability was inspiring. While on the Islands I was misidentified multiple times as Charles Darwin!

In Jackson we have both been busy with multiple projects. Greg working on the Whitney Community Center community programming (www.whitneyccprograms.com) and Melinda taking over as the Chair of the Friends of the Jackson Public Library.

Multiple friends have visited, highlighted by Bill Harley performing at the end of February both at the Jackson Public Library and the Whitney Community Center. As the weather has allowed, we have been outside cross country skiing.

Otto reports that life is good, although being given a few more treats would be appreciated.
